Oladapo Bolarinwa is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering, product development, and fintech innovation. With a background in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria, Oladapo combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to build scalable and impactful solutions.

Throughout his career, Oladapo has demonstrated a passion for solving complex problems through technology. He began his professional journey as a Software Engineer at a startup, developing backend systems that powered financial inclusion initiatives. His commitment to innovation and problem-solving has seen him rise to lead engineering teams and drive high-impact projects across industries and countries.

Currently, Oladapo serves as the Chief Technology Officer at eTranzact Ghana, where he spearheads the company’s flagship product, XCEL, a fintech solution serving customers across multiple countries, including the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, and Congo. In this role, he successfully built the XCEL ecosystem, providing users with seamless financial services through mobile apps, payments, savings, and loyalty programs.

Oladapo’s leadership extends beyond fintech. He led the deployment of a national SIM registration platform for the National Communications Commission in Ghana and Congo, enabling biometric data collection and secure mapping of SIM cards to national IDs. His ability to deliver mission-critical projects and align technology with business goals has made him a sought-after leader in the African tech ecosystem.
